Build Enterprise AI Agents for Microsoft 365 Administration with Claude Course guide
Build Microsoft 365 Admin AI Agents with Claude: Free Guide
Learn to build enterprise AI agents with Claude for Microsoft 365 admin: Graph, identity, licences, Teams, SharePoint, Exchange and more. 15 free videos.

Build Enterprise AI Agents for Microsoft 365 Administration with Claude is an advanced, project-style course that shows you how to build AI agents which carry out real Microsoft 365 admin work. It is for Microsoft 365 administrators and developers who already know the admin side and now want agents built with Claude to take on the repetitive tasks.
The course runs from the basics of agentic AI and Microsoft Graph, through one agent per admin area (identity, licences, Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, security and devices), to multi-agent orchestration, a capstone project and production deployment. All 15 videos are free on YouTube, and the full list lives on the course page for the Claude Microsoft 365 agents course.
Who this course is for
- Microsoft 365 administrators who handle the same identity, licence and Teams requests every week and want to automate them safely.
- Developers and automation engineers who want to see how an AI agent built with Claude calls Microsoft Graph to read and change a tenant.
- IT teams planning AI operations who want to understand what moving from one-off scripts to agents, orchestration and scheduled jobs looks like.
The catalog marks the course Advanced. You will get the most from it if you are comfortable with the Microsoft 365 admin centres and can read code. The course does not teach Microsoft 365 administration from zero.
What you will learn
1. Agentic AI foundations. Introduction To Agentic AI explains what makes an agent different from a chatbot or a script. Every later video builds on that model, so take your time here.
2. Microsoft Graph for administration. Microsoft Graph For Administration covers the API the agents use to reach the tenant. If you understand Graph well, each agent after this is just a new set of calls with a clear goal.
3. One agent per admin area. This is the core of the course, with seven build videos:
- Identity Administration Agent
- License Management Agent
- Teams Administration Agent
- SharePoint Administration Agent
- Exchange Online Administration Agent
- Security Compliance Agent
- Device Compliance Agent
Each one targets a real admin area, so you finish with a pattern you can reuse for whatever your own team handles most.
4. MCP and multi-agent orchestration. MCP For M365 Administration and Multi Agent Orchestration show how to share tools through the Model Context Protocol and how to coordinate several agents instead of building one giant agent.
5. Reporting, the capstone and production. Reporting And Notifications turns agent output into something people can act on. Capstone – AdminOps AI brings the pieces together. Production Deployment And Scheduling covers running the agents on a schedule rather than by hand.
How the course is organised
There are 15 videos and about 4.6 hours of content in total:
- Video 1: a short course overview.
- Videos 2–3: foundations (agentic AI, Microsoft Graph).
- Videos 4–10: the seven admin-area agents. Most of these run about 24–25 minutes and do the heaviest building.
- Videos 11–13: MCP, multi-agent orchestration, reporting and notifications.
- Videos 14–15: the capstone and production deployment with scheduling.
The videos are numbered 01 to 14 after the overview, and each one builds on the last, so follow them in order.
How to study it step by step
- Watch the overview first to see where the course ends up. The capstone is called AdminOps AI.
- Do the two foundation videos slowly. Pause the Graph video and repeat the calls yourself until reading and changing tenant data feels routine.
- Build one admin agent at a time. After each one, write down what is the same as the previous agent and what changed. That shared pattern is the real lesson.
- Use a test tenant. These agents change identities, licences and mailboxes, so never practise against production.
- Pause after the device compliance agent and sketch how you would split your own admin work across agents. Then watch the MCP and orchestration videos with that sketch in hand.
- Finish with the capstone and production videos, and compare the scheduled design with how you run admin tasks today.
This course currently has no Skills Pragati hands-on lab guide, practice simulation or mock exam. The videos are the course.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Microsoft 365 agents with Claude course free?
Yes. All 15 videos are free to watch on YouTube, and you can start from the course page. There is no separate paid lab, simulation or mock exam for this course at the moment.
How long does it take to finish?
The videos add up to about 4.6 hours. Because most of the agent videos are long build sessions, plan extra time to code along. Spreading the course over a week or two is realistic for most learners.
Do I need prior experience?
The course is rated Advanced. You should already be comfortable with Microsoft 365 administration and with reading code. The early videos on agentic AI and Microsoft Graph give you the specific background the agents rely on.
Is this a certification course?
No. It has no exam code and is not tied to a certification. It is a practical build course. If you also want the protocol side in depth, the MCP Server Engineering Masterclass is a natural next step, and Building Production AI Agents with LangGraph shows another way to build agents.
